In 2020, I began a journey of personal and creative reinvention rooted in love and connection. This path led me to embrace my heritage as an artist, a legacy inspired by my father. My artistic focus quickly narrowed to vibrant portrait art, celebrating the unforgettable people and moments that defined the Generation X experience.
Working with layered wood, I create bold, three-dimensional portraits that feel both tactile and energetic. The process is a meditative tribute, capturing the distinctive spirit of my generation, from beloved movies and music to defining pop culture moments. Through these portraits, I aim to evoke a sense of shared nostalgia and belonging, offering viewers a joyful and vivid celebration of our collective past.
